Highlights:-

Oppo Find X, possibly the Chinese smartphone maker's next flagship, is all set to be unveiled at an official launch event scheduled for 8:45pm CEST on June 19 (12:15am IST on June 20) at The Louvre Museum in Paris. This development comes right after Oppo teased the launch of the phone on social media. This launch marks the comeback of Oppo's flagship Find series of smartphones that last saw activity four years back with the Oppo Find 7 and Find 7a launched in June 2014. Not many specifications of the smartphone have been outed yet, and, as for design, we only have a few leaked renders and alleged spy shots.

As per a global press release, Oppo confirmed the launch event with an invite teaser image. Do note that is the global launch of the smartphone and the handset has not been showcased anywhere, not even in its home country of China. "Find X, the name of the new product, recently lighted Paris landmark, represents OPPO's endless exploration of the ultimate future smartphone, with the letter "X" meaning the unknown, adventurous and extreme," the company said in a statement.
The first-ever smartphone in the company's Find series was the Oppo Find X903 unveiled in June 2011. Seven years on, Oppo is reviving its Find series; the Find X is expected to sport flagship specifications including a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, 6GB/ 8GB of RAM, a vertical dual camera setup on the back, and a powerful selfie camera.

As per a leaked image spotted on Weibo, the back of the smartphone does not seem to have a fingerprint sensor hinting towards a possible in-display fingerprint sensor on the front of the Oppo Find X. Additionally, Oppo Find X will come with the company's proprietary VOOC charging support that is one of the fastest standards in the smartphone market currently. The flagship handset has been teased to launch in India, however pricing and availability for the same are currently not known for any market. Specifications, features, and other details will expectedly be clearer at launch later this month.
